Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a network connection method and apparatus. The method comprises: a station generating a first message, wherein the first message is encrypted by using a first password, and the first message is a message in an associated network access flow of the station accessing an access point; and the station sending the first message to the access point. By means of the above method, a message in an associated network access flow of a station accessing an access point is encrypted by using a first password, such that the security of associated network access can be improved, thereby avoiding the leakage of information of a user or the rejection of a service for the user during an associated network access process.
