Abstract:
A photovoltaic cell and its preparation method are provided. The photovoltaic cell comprises a top sealed insulation plate (18), a conductive layer (11), a nano-semiconductor layer (12), a dye molecular layer (13), a polymer electrolyte layer (14), a conductive catalyst layer (15), a conductive layer (16) and a bottom sealed insulation plate (17). The nano-semiconductor layer (12) is composed of three kinds of metal oxides or metal sulfides. The polymer electrolyte layer (14) is composed of CeCl3, fumed silica and LiI. The photovoltaic cell has high photoelectric conversion efficiency and low cost.
