The invention relates to a nail (1) for introducing objects or active substances into a body, comprising a nail body (2) having a shaft (3) and a tip (4) which is formed on one end of the shaft (3), wherein the nail body (2) has at least one cavity for accommodating objects, active substances and/or auxiliary substances, the nail body (2) consisting predominantly or completely of woody plant material.
