Abstract:
A multiple contact point flexible bearing for a harmonic reducer is provided, comprising a three contact point flexible ball bearing, a four contact point flexible ball bearing, and a linear contact flexible roller bearing. In the present invention there are two or more points of contact between a single rolling element and an outer-ring raceway, that is, an outer ring-flexspline interference fitting piece. Compared with the prior art in which there is only one point of contact, the present invention improves deformation accuracy of the outer ring-flexspline interference fitting piece and engagement accuracy of the flexspline gear teeth (831) and rigid circular spline teeth, reducing and even preventing unnecessary additional deformation, reducing contact stress between the rolling element and the raceway, controlling sliding of the rolling element, improving condition of the bearing assembly and lubrication during operation, as well as other quality and technical advantages, thereby improving operational accuracy and service life of flexible bearings, flexsplines, and even entire harmonic reducers.
