Abstract:
The present invention relates to a multilayer circular ring-shaped tuned liquid column damper, comprising multiple cylindrical housings which are coaxial and are stacked from inside to outside but not in contact with each other; the tops of the cylindrical housings are open and located on the same horizontal plane, the bottoms of the cylindrical housings are closed and located on different horizontal planes, and each two adjacent cylindrical housings form a cavity therebetween; multiple L-shaped partitions which are uniformly distributed in the circumferential direction are provided respectively between each two adjacent cylindrical housings such that multiple sub-cavities in communication with each other are respectively formed in the cavities; the L-shaped partitions are fixedly connected to the cylindrical housings in contact therewith; the cavities are filled with liquid; and holes having specific opening areas can be formed in the bottoms of the partitions. The present invention enables, on the basis of the existing unidirectional tuned liquid column damper, multidirectional vibration reduction and energy dissipation, and is able to expand the bandwidth of the tuned frequency to control the multi-order vibration modes of the structure at the same time, or increase the mass of the liquid in the damper to increase the control efficiency of a certain order of the vibration mode.
