Abstract:
Provided are a multi-row ball bearing and a manufacturing method therefor with which a radial load can be dispersed effectively while reducing frictional force when an inner ring and an outer ring rotate relative to one another. A plurality of ball rows (5) are interposed between an inner ring (3) and an outer ring (4) so as to be adjacent to one another, and each of the plurality of ball rows (5) is arranged such that the balls (5a) are arranged at a prescribed interval (L), and such that each ball row (5) is offset in the row direction with respect to the ball rows (5) adjacent to that ball row (5). Each ball (5a) in each ball row (5) faces a space (LS) of the prescribed interval (L) in each ball row (5) adjacent to that ball row (5), and is in contact with two balls (5a) forming each prescribed interval (L).
