Abstract:
The present invention discloses a self-latching device (102) and a method for establishing a strong connection between two components (116, 118). Latching keys (108) are connected to a male component (104), wherein the male component (104) along with the latching keys (108) is brought near a female component (106). Upon applying a gentle force from an angle, the male component (104) gets into the female component (106) through a guide (112/1). Machine spring (110) creates a compression of the latching keys (108) while entering into the female component (106). Further, the latching keys (108) fit into a slot of the female member (106), thereby coupling the male component (104) with the female component (106). Consequently, a strong fit is achieved between two components (116, 118) through the self-latching device (102).
