Abstract:
A multi-purpose screw, comprising a screw rod (1) having a tip-shaped bottom and a rotating seat (2) located at the top of the screw rod (1). A slot (21) for allowing a screwdriver to be inserted is formed in the surface of the rotating seat (2); a self-tapping thread structure (3) and a machine thread structure (4) are sequentially arranged on the screw rod (1) from the tip portion to the top; and the pitch of the self-tapping thread structure (3) is larger than that of the machine thread structure (4). The multi-purpose screw has the following advantages: the multi-purpose screw integrates the functions of a self-tapping screw and a machine screw, and can fix objects to be connected without using an auxiliary device, thereby greatly facilitating the fixation between objects during decoration; and when the screw is used in a thin metal plate, automatic drilling can be implemented, and the pitch of the machine thread structure at the tail part is small, such that a locking effect can be achieved, and a nut is not required for fixing anymore.
