Abstract:

A multi-mode continuously variable transmission having rotational speed and torque coupling, comprising an engine power input assembly (1), a hydraulic transmission assembly (2), a motor transmission assembly (3), a planetary gear assembly, an output component, a clutch assembly, and a brake assembly. The output end of the planetary gear assembly is connected to the output component; the clutch assembly respectively connects the engine power input assembly (1), the hydraulic transmission assembly (2), and the motor transmission assembly (3) to the input end of the planetary gear assembly; the clutch assembly connects the engine power input assembly (1) and the hydraulic transmission assembly (2); and the clutch assembly and the brake assembly provide a continuously variable transmission ratio of the engine power input assembly (1) or/and the motor transmission assembly (3) to the output component. By switching the clutch assembly and the brake assembly, and adjusting the displacement ratio of the hydraulic transmission assembly (2) and the rotational speed/torque of a motor, the optimal power matching of a power source and the optimal combination of power output modes are achieved.
