Abstract:
A multi-disc transmission comprises: an input shaft; an output shaft; a primary disc; a secondary disc; a pair of press-down rollers; a shift actuator; a first arm and a second arm, which apply press-down force to the pair of press-down rollers; a press-down force generating mechanism which is supported by a second shaft provided pivotally on the first arm, changes by means of a change mechanism the direction of action of the push force of an elastic member provided in the direction of the axis of the second shaft, transmits the push force, the direction of action of which has been changed, to the second arm, and causes the first arm and the second arm to generate the press-down force; and a press-down force adjusting actuator which causes the press-down force generating mechanism to pivot and changes the direction in which the push force acts on the second arm, thereby adjusting the press-down force.
