Abstract:
Provided are a muffler cleaning device and a muffler cleaning method with which the service life of a muffler can be extended and the cost of replacing a muffler can be reduced. This muffler cleaning device is equipped with: a cleaning tank in which a muffler and a cleaning solution are accommodated; a muffler mount connected to the engine side of the muffler and holding the muffler inside the cleaning tank; an upper cover connected to the tail side of the muffler; and a circulation unit that is connected to the lower portion of the cleaning tank and the upper surface of the upper cover, and that circulates the cleaning solution inside the cleaning tank.
