Abstract:
A motorcycle transmission has a friction brake device. Said friction brake device is in a released brake state when the shift sleeve is in the neutral position and switches to a braking state when the shift sleeve moves to the driven gear-side, and has a configuration such that when the shift sleeve moves from the neutral position to the driven gear-side, shift actuation by the shift sleeve is completed by the engagement of a synchronizer claw with a synchronized claw before relative rotation between the driven gear and the shift sleeve disappears.
