This motor according to an example of the present invention has: a cylindrical housing which has an opening at one axial end section and a female thread section on an inner circumferential surface of the opening; a stator provided on the radial inside of the housing; a rotor which is provided on the radial inside of the stator and to which a member to be driven is connected; a bearing which is supported by the housing and rotatably supports the rotor around the center axis of the rotor; a bearing retaining section extending to the radial inside from the housing and abutting to the bearing from the other axial side with respect to the bearing; a pressing member which is provided in the opening of the housing, has a male thread section provided on the outer circumferential surface thereof and fastened to the female thread section, and presses the bearing toward the other axial side; and a plate-shaped interposed object provided between the pressing member and the bearing in the axial direction and formed of a material harder than the pressing member. The interposed object has a greater contact area with the pressing member than the contact area with the bearing.
