Abstract:
The present invention suppresses an increase in power consumption of a motor. A control circuit (1) comprises: a commutation mode setting unit (11) that selects and sets as a commutation mode a first commutation mode in which a coil (41) of a motor (4) is commutated on the basis of a detection result of zero crossing of a reverse voltage of the coil (41), or a second commutation mode in which the coil (41) is commutated according to a target energization time; a driving control signal generation unit (12) that generates a driving control signal (Sd) on the basis of the set commutation mode; a current limitation value setting unit (14) that sets a current limitation value; and a current limitation unit (16) that instructs the driving control signal generation unit (12) to stop excitation of the coil (41) when the current flowing through the coil (41) has reached the current limitation value. The current limitation value setting unit (14) sets the current limitation value to an upper limit value (Ith1) in a period in which the commutation mode is the first commutation mode, and sets the current limitation value to a lower limit value (Ith2) in at least a partial period in the second commutation mode.
