Abstract:
A motor device (1), comprising a motor shaft (3) and a motor housing (2) provided on the motor shaft (3). A motor unit module (21) is provided in the motor housing (2). A driving ring (4), a clutch ring (5), and a clutch control module are arranged on one end of the motor shaft (3) extended from the output end of the motor unit module (21). The clutch control module is used for controlling the driving ring (4) and the clutch ring (5) to be combined or separated. Also provided is a control method for the motor device. According to the motor device (1) and the control method therefor, a set of clutch system can be additionally provided on an existing motor clutch system, such that motor-assisted cooperation and separation are achieved, when the motor is powered on, electric power assistance of the motor to the bicycle can be achieved, and when the motor is powered off, the driving ring (4) and the clutch ring (5) in the motor device (1) can be controlled to be completely separated, and wheels are not subjected to the resistance in the motor device (1) during natural riding of a cyclist.
