Abstract:
A linear guide (10) is provided with the following: a track rail (20) having ball rolling grooves (22); a moving block (30) having loaded ball rolling grooves (33) opposing the ball rolling grooves (22), no-load ball rolling grooves (34) extending in parallel with the direction in which the ball rolling grooves (22) extend, and change-of-direction guide grooves (35) connecting the loaded ball rolling grooves (33) and the no-load ball rolling grooves (34); and a plurality of balls (40) arrayed on an endless circulation pathway comprising loaded ball rolling pathways (50), no-load ball rolling pathways (60), and change-of-direction pathways (70) formed by the track rail (20) and the moving block (30). The change-of-direction pathways (70) have a plurality of change points where the track changes. By having this configuration, it is possible to provide a linear guide which does not require an end plate.
