Abstract:
Provided is a motion guidance device that can prevent a ball from coming into contact with an edge of a ball rolling groove of a track member when the ball transfers, to the track member, from a rolling surface on an inner peripheral side (inner peripheral side component) of a direction turning path. The motion guidance device comprises: a track member (2) having a ball rolling groove (2a); and a movement member that is assembled to the track member (2) so as to be movable relative to the track member (2). The movement member includes: a movement member body having a load ball rolling groove facing the ball rolling groove (2a), and a return path substantially parallel to the load ball rolling groove; and a lid member having a direction turning path. In a cross-sectional view of the motion guidance device perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the track member (2), R > r is set where R denotes the radius of curvature of the ball rolling groove (2a) and r denotes a distance from the ball center (O) to the rolling surface (21) of the inner peripheral side (inner peripheral side component (9a)) of the direction turning path.
