Abstract:
Provided are a monitoring device, a rolling element-exchanging system, an exchanging device, and a bearing with which a bearing can be repaired in a short time. A monitoring device for monitoring the degree of wear of rolling elements in a bearing is characterized in that: at least a portion of the bearing is configured from a transparent section; and the monitoring device is provided with an irradiating section for irradiating light on the transparent section, a light-receiving section for receiving reflected light from the rolling elements that have passed through the transparent section, and a calculating section for calculating the degree of wear of the rolling elements on the basis of the amount of light received by the light-receiving section.
