Abstract:
This monitoring device 2 comprises: an acquisition unit 211 that acquires modulation information indicating a modulation scheme having been used for the wireless communication between a vehicle-mounted station 4 and a terrestrial station 3 and position information indicating the position of a vehicle-mounted antenna 41 when a modulation scheme, for which the communication quality is equal to or greater than a threshold value and further for which the transmission capacity is the greatest, is switched to among a plurality of modulation schemes having different directivities between the terrestrial station 3 and the vehicle-mounted station 4; a detection unit 212 that determines, for each modulation scheme, a variation amount between the position indicated by the position information acquired by the acquisition unit 211 and a reference position associated with the modulation scheme indicated by the modulation information and that detects a deviation in orientation of the vehicle-mounted antenna 41 or a terrestrial antenna 41 on the basis of the variation amount determined for each modulation scheme; and an output unit 213 that outputs a result detected by the detection unit 212.
