Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a mobile body 1 moves using drive power generated by an electric motor 2. The mobile body 1 is provided with: the electric motor 2; a battery 3 that can be attached to and detached from a main body 10 of the mobile body 1; a connection unit 5 that electrically connects the battery 3 and the main body 10 to each other when the battery 3 is attached to the main body 10; and a temperature sensor 60 that detects the temperature of the connection unit 5. Corresponding to power supplied from the battery 3 via the connection unit 5, the electric motor 2 generates the drive power for moving the mobile body 1. When a detected temperature is equal to or higher than a first threshold value during a time when the mobile body 1 is moving, control units 7, 33 perform a control so that the power to be consumed while the mobile body 1 is moving is lower than the power to be consumed when the temperature is below the first threshold value.
