Abstract:
Provided is an MnZnCo-based ferrite which has small magnetic loss over a wide frequency region and a wide temperature range. The MnZnCo-based ferrite according to the present invention includes: a principal component comprising Fe2O3 at 51.00 mol% or more but less than 58.00 mol%, ZnO at 6.00 mol% or more but less than 13.00 mol%, CoO at more than 0.10 mol% but no more than 0.50 mol%, with the remainder being MnO; and a secondary component comprising, with respect to the principal component, 50-500 mass ppm of Si in terms of SiO2, 200-2,000 mass ppm of Ca in terms of CaO, 85-500 mass ppm of Nb in terms of Nb2O5 conversion, and 5-20 mass ppm of K.
