Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a mitred-joint transformer. The mitred-joint transformer comprises core side limbs, an upper yoke located at upper ends of the core side limbs, and a lower yoke located at lower ends of the core side limbs, wherein the cross-sectional area of the upper yoke and the cross-sectional area of the lower yoke are both greater than the cross-sectional area of the core side limbs; an angle between each core side limb and a joint at the upper yoke and an angle between the core side limb and a joint at the lower yoke are both 35-38 degrees; and an angle between the upper yoke and a joint at each core side limb and an angle between the lower yoke and the joint at the core side limb are both 52-55 degrees. The present invention provides the mitred-joint transformer, which has a good energy-saving effect due to there being no gaps between the core side limbs and the yokes when the cross-sectional area of the core side limbs and the cross-sectional areas of the yokes are not equal.
