Title:
MICROPHYSIOLOGICAL SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/096090
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a microphysiological system comprising a microfluidic device, and human renal proximal tubular epithelial cells (RPTEC) and pluripotent stem cell-derived LTL-positive cells which are accommodated in the microfluidic device. The microfluidic device comprises a device body, a first chamber provided to the device body, a second chamber provided to the device body, and a porous membrane which is positioned between the first chamber and the second chamber, and separates the first chamber and the second chamber. The RPTEC and the LTL-positive cells are accommodated inside the first chamber and are attached to a first surface of the porous membrane facing the first chamber.
