Abstract:
Provided are: a novel microparticle that includes miRNA for controlling the production of nitric oxide and that is an agent for promoting the production of nitric oxide, said microparticle being capable of controlling the expression of a protein and/or gene related to erectile dysfunction; a drug for the prevention or treatment of erectile dysfunction; and an erectile dysfunction improvement method. The microparticle is preferably an exosome. The microparticle preferably includes miRNA targeting a gene related to the expression of nitric oxide synthase as said miRNA for controlling the production of nitric oxide, and preferably is an agent for promoting the expression of nitric oxide synthase.
