Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for receiving an indication of a plurality of resources for sidelink communication between the UE and a neighboring UE, configuring a plurality of fixed frame periods (FFPs) associated with the plurality of resources based on a (FFP) configuration associated with the UE, transmitting the (FFP) configuration to the neighboring UE, and transmitting or receiving sidelink information based on at least a portion of the plurality of resources and a portion of the plurality of (FFPs).
