Abstract:
A method for treating combustible wastes which comprises a step of subjecting the combustible wastes to destructive distillation, to thereby produce carbonized products and a combustible gas, a step of contacting an exhaust gas from a process with said carbonized products to purify the exhaust gas, and a step of recovering the carbonized products in the exhaust gas. The destructive distillation is carried out at a temperature of 400 °C or higher.
