Abstract:
A method and system are disclosed for validating an image upgrade on a device under test. The method includes receiving a command on the device under test for the image upgrade on the device under test; monitoring one or more devices having wireless connectivity with the device under test over a first predetermined period of time; classifying each of the one or more devices having wireless connectivity with the device under test into one or more categories; upgrading an original image on the device under test with a new image on the device under test; monitoring wireless connectivity between the one or more devices after the new image has been installed for a second predetermined period of time; and validating the new image on the device under test by detecting loss of wireless connectivity in the one or more devices over the second predetermined period of time.
