Abstract:
A method and a system for managing a tire are provided with which intrinsic information on the tire including information on individual tire members can be stably grasped over a long period with higher certainty. Regarding a tire T produced by vulcanizing a green tire G obtained by uniting multiple kinds of tire members E including a tire member E1 obtained by cutting a continuous object L to a one-tire size, intrinsic information D on the tire T including individual pieces of information QLx on the tire members E1 is memorized in a memory unit 9 while being linked with an RFID tag 8. The RFID tag 8 is provided to the tire T so as to be not exposed on the outer surface of the tire T and to lie in a position corresponding to a specific surface mark SM disposed on the outer surface of the tire T. The RFID tag 8 is read by a tag reader 7 to acquire the intrinsic information D.
