Abstract:
In a method for supporting a linear brake, the top plate (31) of the linear brake (30) is mounted to a support body (20) with damper bodies (27, 28) therebetween, the support body (20) being movable on a guide rail (60). A gap for permitting the deformation of the linear brake (30) during clamping is present between the support body (20) and the linear brake (30). A pair of beams (54) are connected to the support body (20) so that the beams (54) are arranged between clamp sections (33) and the guide rail (60) when the support body (20) is disposed on the guide rail (60). The rigidity of the beams (54) in the direction of clamping of the clamping sections (33) is lower than that of the beams (54) in the direction of extension of the guide rail (60).
