Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for separating deuterium from a mixed gas of deuterium and nitrogen, and purifying same, and allows a deuterium-mixed gas containing nitrogen to pass through four or more pressure swing adsorption devices filled with an adsorbent, so that nitrogen is adsorbed on the adsorbent, and then, deuterium, which is not adsorbed, is discharged to the top of adsorption towers, thereby allowing purified deuterium to be recovered, and thus high-concentration deuterium, from which nitrogen is removed, can be produced from a mixed gas of deuterium and nitrogen.
