Abstract:
A method for regulating plant somatic embryogenesis. Plant immature zygotic embryos are used as explants to induce somatic embryogenesis by controlling the co-expression of shoot apical meristem stem cell regulatory factors, miR394 and WUS. According to the present application, test results show that WUS accelerates somatic embryogenesis with dose and stage effects, and miR394 can not only help WUS regulate shoot apical meristem development, but also improve efficiency of WUS to induce somatic embryogenesis, thereby transforming Ler Arabidopsis, of which the somatic embryogenesis is difficult, into a plant more efficient in somatic embryogenesis.
