Abstract:
A method for reducing the power consumption of a wearable device. The method is applied to a wearable device, wherein the wearable device comprises a main body (11) and a base (13), which is used for bearing the main body (11), and the main body (11) is capable of rotating relative to the base (13). The method comprises: detecting whether the front face or the back face of the main body (11) of the wearable device faces up; and when it is detected that the front face of the main body (11) faces up, the wearable device being in a normal operation mode; and when it is detected that the back face of the main body (11) faces up, the wearable device entering a low power consumption mode, wherein the low power consumption mode comprises any one of a distraction-free mode, a power-saving mode and a user-defined mode. Therefore, the power consumption of a wearable device can be reduced according to the usage requirements of a user, and the standby duration of the wearable device can thus be prolonged. Further provided are a wearable device, a computer-readable storage medium, a computer program product, and a chip system.
