Abstract:
Provided is a method for recovering a platinum group element from a solution containing a platinum group element, the method using a capture agent to induce adsorption of the platinum group element by the capture agent. In this method, the platinum group element is adsorbed by a capture agent such that at least 50 mol% of the platinum group element adsorbed by the capture agent is in the form of a platinum group element complex in an oxidized state, and the platinum group element is thereby recovered.
