Abstract:
A method and recombinant strain for enhancing the methyl mercury demethylation and/or divalent mercury reduction abilities of a fungus, and the use, relating to the technical field of recombinant strains. Using the method, a recombinant fungus that overexpresses the methyl mercury demethylase gene Mmd or bivalent mercury reductase Mir from Metarhizium robertsii alone and a recombinant engineering fungus that simultaneously expresses the Mmd and Mir genes can be respectively obtained. The methyl mercury demethylation and/or divalent mercury reduction abilities of the recombinant fungus and the recombinant engineering fungus can be significantly enhanced compared with wild-type fungi.
