Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a solid electrolyte having excellent productivity, sharp particle size distribution, a small median diameter (D50), and excellent ionic conductivity, the method comprising: obtaining a solution of an intermediate (1) by mixing a raw material-containing substance containing lithium atoms, phosphorus atoms, and sulfur atoms mixed with a solvent; and spraying the solution of the intermediate (1) by means of a spray-drying apparatus, wherein the spray pressure of the spray-drying apparatus is set to be at least 0.01 MPa. Also provided is a solid electrolyte having a prescribed median diameter (D50) and particle size distribution.
