Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for producing a member in a molten metal bath, the method not readily forming pores and cracks in a sealing film and making it possible to suppress the adhesion of alloys such as dross. [Solution] This method for producing a member for a molten metal bath is characterized in that a mixed solution, which is obtained by adding primary aluminum phosphate and inorganic particles having a crystal structure of a layered structure in a hexagonal system to a silica sol solution, is applied or sprayed on a cermet spray coating film formed on a substrate or an oxide-based ceramic spray coating film formed on a substrate, the mixed solution being applied or sprayed as a solution for sealing the spray coating film.
