Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet which inhibits occurrence of ridging and which has a favorable shape. This method for producing a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet comprises: heating a steel slab containing, in mass%, 0.02-0.10% of C, 2.5-5.5% of Si, 0.01-0.30% of Mn, and a total of 0.0010-0.040% of at least one element of S and Se; performing hot-rolling; performing, after performing hot-rolled sheet annealing or without performing hot-rolled sheet annealing, cold-rolling once or at least twice with an intermediate annealing interposed therebetween, so as to obtain a cold-rolled sheet having a final thickness; subjecting the resulting sheet to primary recrystallization annealing that also serves as decarburization annealing; and subjecting the resulting sheet to final annealing. The heating temperature for the slab is at least 1300ºC. When performing rough rolling in the hot-rolling, a rolling pass is performed at a temperature range of at least 1200ºC, and the next rolling pass is performed in the opposite direction after an interval of at least 5 seconds. The total rolling reduction percentage of the rough rolling is set to at least 75%.
