Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing a ginsenoside from a Gynostemma pentaphyllum-derived adventitious root. Specifically, the present invention relates to a method for producing a ginsenoside from a Gynostemma pentaphyllum-derived adventitious root, the method including: a step for forming an adventitious root from Gynostemma pentaphyllum; and a step for separating a ginsenoside from the adventitious root. The method uses a Gynostemma pentaphyllum-derived adventitious root, which heretofore has not been used in the production of ginsenosides, to produce a ginsenoside, and thus can be usefully used commercially.
