Abstract:
Provided are: a method for efficiently producing a fluid control device (10); and protective equipment for joint (20, 30) and fluid control device (10) used in said method. These items of protective equipment for joint (20, 30) are detachably fitted to a joint sleeve (13) that is welded to a body (12), with the joint sleeve (13) inserted into the through-hole of a nut. The body (22) of the protective equipment for joint (20, 30) has an inner peripheral surface (21) having a larger diameter than the outer diameter of the joint sleeve (13) such that there is a gap with the outer peripheral surface (13B) of the joint sleeve (13), and the body (22) is equipped with a slit (24) to enable the body (22) to be attached to and detached from the joint sleeve (13). By fitting the protective equipment for joint (20) to the joint sleeve (13), movement of the nut in the axial direction is minimized, and the seal part of the joint sleeve (13) protects the seal part by ensuring that same does not protrude from the nut. Cleaning is possible with the protective equipment for joint (20, 30) fitted to the body (12).
