Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a novel method for producing a divalent samarium compound. [Solution] A method for producing a divalent samarium compound which includes a reduction step for producing a divalent samarium compound by reducing a trivalent samarium compound in the presence of a sandwich compound comprising a metal atom and two arene ligands.
