Abstract:
A method for preparing a special-shaped pipe having mirrored boss structures, using a carbon fiber composite material, comprising the following steps: 1) coating a core mold with an optical film; 2) coating the core mold having the optical film with a prepreg; 3) covering a foam block with the prepreg and an adhesive film; 4) placing a boss block; 5) covering a composite structure with prepreg; 6) removing the core mold and placing the core mold into an air bag; 7) cleaning and preheating a combined mold; 8) putting a prefabricated product into a lower-layer mold; 9) closing a middle-layer mold; 10) installing an upper-layer mold, and inflating, heating and curing; and 11) adjusting the combined mold and repeating the steps to obtain a left boss carbon fiber composite material special-shaped pipe fitting and a right boss carbon fiber composite material special-shaped pipe fitting which have mirror symmetry. The technical solution uses mold pressing and pneumatic forming to realize production of the carbon fiber composite material special pipe fitting having boss structures with mirror symmetry by a single set of molds, thereby reducing production costs and solving the problem of difficult molding and demolding of carbon fiber composite material special pipe fitting having a single or multiple boss structures.
