Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for preparing elemental material by using a monoatomic carbon reduction, comprising: cracking an organic carbon source into atomic carbon and dissolving in a melt medium at 300 °C to 1500 °C; performing an oxidation-reduction reaction of the atomic carbon and an elemental precursor compound in the melt medium, such that the elemental precursor compound is reduced to an elemental substance, where the elemental substance is supersaturated and crystallized in the melt medium to obtain the elemental material. The method can prepare high-quality, self-crystallized elemental material at a low temperature and a low cost.
