Abstract:

A method for preparing a cross-sectional scanning electron microscope sample of a lithium battery material, comprising the following steps: taking a lithium battery material and placing same on a metal foil; adding silver conductive glue and stirring and mixing to obtain a slurry-like lithium battery material sample; folding the metal foil and wrapping the slurry-like lithium battery material sample to obtain a sample embedded part; pressing the embedded part and drying to obtain a cured embedded part; cutting the cured embedded part; and then polishing a cross section by using an argon ion beam to obtain the cross-sectional scanning electron microscope sample of the lithium battery material. The preparation method is simple to operate, and uses metal foil and silver conductive glue to embed the lithium battery material sample, which avoids the possibility of a coating that breaks and falls off of the powder sample directly coated on a silicon wafer from contaminating an instrument.
