Abstract:
When optical fibers led into a building from a trunk are distributed in the building, the optical fibers (1, 1, ...) are passed through a trough or a drain pipe (2). Preferably, the cross-sectional occupying area of the optical fibers (1, 1, ...) is 50% or less of the inner cross-sectional area of the trough or the drain pipe (2). When a branch pipe is connected to the trough or the drain pipe (2), the optical fibers passed through the trough or the drain pipe are collected, at the joint, to the side of the trough or the drain pipe opposite to the joint. The optical fibers are laid under a state where a partition plate or a support having protrusions and recesses for arranging a plurality of optical fibers are provided in the trough or the drain pipe (2), or a state where the optical fibers are passed through a sheath tube or a plurality of sheath tubes coupled laterally.
