Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a method for measuring the position of a radio frequency unit, and a communication apparatus. The method for measuring the position of a radio frequency unit comprises: an access network device receiving a plurality of first messages which are sent by a terminal device at a plurality of moments, wherein a first message sent at a first moment indicates a corresponding position of the terminal device at the first moment, and the first moment is any one of the plurality of moments; according to the plurality of first messages, the access network device obtaining a plurality of corresponding positions of the terminal device at the plurality of moments and distances between the plurality of positions and a radio frequency unit; and the access network device determining a first position of the radio frequency unit according to the plurality of positions and the distance between the plurality of positions and the radio frequency unit. By means of such a method for measuring the position of a radio frequency unit, an access network device can acquire the position of the radio frequency unit by means of the position of a terminal device, and manual on-site measurement is not required to obtain the position of the radio frequency unit, such that the measurement efficiency of the position of the radio frequency unit is improved.
