Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a vibration damping device by sealing liquid (L) in the liquid chamber (11) of the vibration damping device body (10), the vibration damping device body (10) having the liquid chamber (11) in which the liquid (L) is sealed and having a pouring opening (12) from which the liquid (L) is poured into the liquid chamber (11). In a state in which a nozzle (22) for pouring the liquid (L) is inserted in the pouring opening (12) and pressure within a pressure reduction container (21) in which the vibration damping device body (10) is disposed is reduced, air within the liquid chamber (11) is discharged through an air discharge opening (14) while the liquid (L) is being poured from the nozzle (22) into the liquid chamber (11), the air discharge opening (14) being formed in the vibration damping device body (10) and being in communication with the liquid chamber (11).
