Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a non-woven fabric for absorbent articles, the method making it possible to obtain a non-woven fabric having the desired texture and absorption speed. A method (S100) for manufacturing a non-woven fabric for absorbent articles comprises: a web formation step (S101) for forming a web having a first fiber layer (11) including thermoplastic resin fibers (51) at 90 wt% to 100 wt%, a second fiber layer (12) including thermoplastic resin fibers (51) and cellulose-based fibers (52), and a third fiber layer (13) including thermoplastic resin fibers at 90 wt% to 100 wt%, the foregoing layers being layered in the thickness direction; and a hot air penetration step (S105) in which, after the web formation step, the web is disposed on an air-permeable conveyor surface, with the third fiber layer of the web disposed facing the conveyor, and hot air is caused to penetrate the web.
