Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a forged crankshaft. This manufacturing method includes: a pressing step for pressing a longitudinal part (first portion) of a rod-shaped member (51) by a pair of first dies (10), thereby reducing the cross-sectional area of the first portion; and an eccentricity step for imparting eccentricity to a second portion of the rod-shaped member (51) by second dies (20) while the first portion is held. The second portion is at least a part of the portion of the rod-shaped member (51) excluding the first portion. The direction of eccentricity imparted by the second dies (20) is perpendicular to both the direction of pressing by the first dies (10) and the longitudinal direction of the rod-shaped member.
