Abstract:
The present invention provides a double Raschel warp knitting machine comprising: a pair of front-side jacquard bars JB2, 3 and a pair of back-side jacquard bars JB4, 5 as jacquard bars, the front-side jacquard bars JB2, 3 and the back-side jacquard bars JB4, 5 being half-gauge jacquard bars; and, as ground guide bars, at least one front-side ground guide bar GB1 provided closer to the front side than the front-side jacquard bars JB2, 3, and at least one back-side ground guide bar GB6, 7, 8 provided closer to the back side than the back-side jacquard bars JB4, 5, said double Raschel warp knitting machine characterized in that four half-gauge jacquard bars are provided with jacquard guides at the same position in the width direction of the knitting machine.
