Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for implementing automatic fabric detection and automatic tension adjustment of traction apparatuses of a flat knitting machine, comprising detecting a fabric width between the traction apparatuses of the flat knitting machine by means of infrared apparatuses, and then automatically adjusting a pattern mode and adjusting the tension by means of algorithm processing. In the present invention, whether there is fabric between the two traction apparatuses of the flat knitting machine is detected by means of infrared emitting tubes and infrared receiving tubes working in conjunction with each other, so as to control the working state of the traction apparatuses of the flat knitting machine without needing to set software, such that the automation degree is high; and a master control of flat knitting machine obtains the width of the present fabric by means of feedback values of the infrared receiving tubes when the fabric passes through sub-rakes so as to automatically adjust the tension of each sub-rake and automatically change the pattern mode, thereby reducing manual intervention and thus preventing human error.
